The locations of the Sixth and the Seventh World Congress of Environmental Education (WEEC) have been chosen.

The locations of the Sixth and the Seventh World Congress of Environmental Education (to be held in 2011 and 2013) will be announced in Montreal (Canada), during the Fifth WEEC, which will take place on May 10th - 14th 2009.

A number of applications to host the biennial WEEC conference have come from three continents to the Permanent Secretariat of the International Network of Environmental Education. As a result, the Evaluation Committee worked very hard for the past several months.

The enormous interest in organizing the conferences proves the continuity and widespread dissemination achieved by the WEEC World Network, founded in 2003 at the first congress held in Portugal.
